About North Shore Dad

Built by a dad, for busy North Shore families.

As a dad of three kids under 10, I found myself asking the same question every week: What are we doing with the kids this weekend?

Between soccer games, baseball practices, flag football, and everything else that comes with raising three kids, weekends fill up fast. But there’s always that little window of time when you’re looking for something fun to do as a family.

I’d spend way too much time searching through local websites, Facebook groups, and event calendars trying to find something worthwhile.

That’s where the idea for North Shore Dad came from.

I figured if I was spending this much time looking for fun things to do, other parents probably were too.

So I created North Shore Dad. A simple, free weekly guide to the best family activities, local events, restaurants, breweries, hidden gems, and weekend adventures north of Boston.

No endless scrolling. No digging through a dozen websites. Just great local finds delivered to your inbox every Thursday.

And despite the name, you definitely don’t have to be a dad to join the fun. Moms, grandparents, and anyone looking to make the most of their weekends are welcome.

Less searching. More doing. A few dad jokes along the way.
