Newsletter signups

When you subscribe, we collect your email address and signup information, such as the form or campaign you used and when you subscribed. We use this information to send the newsletter you requested, manage your subscription, respond to requests, and understand which signup sources are working.

Services that process your information

We use beehiiv to manage subscribers and deliver email. For Facebook lead-form signups, Meta collects the information you submit and Zapier transfers it to our beehiiv publication. These services process information under their own privacy policies as well as their arrangements with us. Our website is hosted by ScalaHosting.

Email delivery and reporting may record delivery status, opens, clicks, and technical information associated with those interactions. Website hosting and platform services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, cookies, and access logs to operate and secure their services.

Your choices

Subscribing is optional. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter. You may also email us to ask about, correct, or delete your subscriber information. We may need to verify your request. We retain information while needed to operate the newsletter and maintain records of subscription preferences, security, or legal obligations.

Sharing and security

Signup information is used for North Shore Dad and its service providers. We do not sell our newsletter subscriber list. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the service. We use the access and security controls provided by our platforms; no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children and external links

The newsletter is intended for parents, caregivers, and other adults. We do not knowingly solicit subscriptions from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information. Links to local businesses, events, and other websites are governed by those sites’ privacy practices.

Updates

We may update this notice as our services change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
